Concerts on the Plaza

Celebrate Summer in Niles!

Celebrate summer in Niles with the beloved Concerts on the Plaza! These free, family-friendly concerts, held on the second Saturday of July, August, and September, bring the community together in the heart of historic Niles Town Plaza, right next to the iconic train depot. Hosted by dedicated local volunteers and supported with local fundraisers and donations, these events are a testament to Niles' vibrant community spirit.

The goal is simple: to provide a fun, welcoming experience for all ages, showcasing the rich musical heritage of Niles in our beautiful plaza setting. In the spirit of Niles, a hotbed of creativity and music, our concerts primarily feature artists performing original music, though we do occasionally include some top-notch performers of traditional music as well. Past performers have included renowned acts like The Zydeco Flames, Saint Gabriel's Celestial Brass Band, Patrice Pike, Ron Thompson, Anthony Arya, Jinx Jones, David Luning, The Coffis Brothers, Hurricane Roses, Wooster, Hyjinx, as well as local favorites like Michael McNevin and Cathryn Price.

Enjoy an afternoon of live music, delicious food from local businesses, restaurants, and food trucks, with the company of friends and neighbors. Bring your own seating and soak in the unique atmosphere of Niles. It's the perfect way to experience the creativity and community that makes Niles so special.
